- trans rebuilt at 175,000kms.
- a/c fixed.
- new timing belt, coolant, water pump, and t-stat.
- like-new Nokian 215/45x17" all-weather tires with snowflake.
- new inner and outer tie-rods. rest of steering good.
- european-style rear sway bar added, as this was deleted on north american models. It balances handling perfectly.
- only vw-spec 505.01 oil used (available at Lordco in town).
- new brakes, but left-hand parking brake cable is seized -- right still works.
- heated seats work.
- Just installed new glow plugs and fuel filter today.
- Bilstein shocks.
- all warranty repairs done.
- metal engine skid plate added.
- huge amount of interior room.
Rust on left front fender; replaceable, but I've not found a good-used black one yet. Right side is good, and no rust on chassis.
