I bought this car a few years ago and have been driving it daily ever since, it's never let me down. My wife has been driving it daily for the last year, and she now has another car so it's time for it to go to a new home
It's the 5MGE straight 6 engine with an electronic automatic transmission.
The engine bay is a 10/10. The blue interior is also 10/10, also flawless, and it's complete.
Nearly everything in the car works as-new, all of the power windows, every digit on the digital dash.
Tires are nearly new
The only things that are dead are the LOW speed on the hvac fan (the heater resistor needs replacing, I repaired it once but it broke again), the air conditioning, and the sunroof control board.
The previous owners were an old couple who had it maintained very well and always parked indoors from new, and you can really tell. The exterior is nearly rust free, which is rare for an old toyota.
The only exterior flaws are a small dent in the hood, and a decent sized dent in the passenger rear quarter and door where someone hit it, while parked, and ran away. It's a real shame because I had restored the rest of the car and once that dent was repaired, it would easily qualify for collector plates. That dent is the only reason for the low price.
Car currently lives in Port Alberni, has made many trips to nanaimo and victoria without problems.
