Hi there, I am a 50 years young man looking for some... safe, affordable and preferably, long-term housing in or around the Alberni Valley. My income is... small but secure and I have good references.
I have an assortment of tools and skills and while I would not claim to be a tradesman of any one sort, I do enjoy gardening, landscaping and building or repairing.... all sorts of things. Some of my physical capabilities are limited due to injury but I have many.... mobility and work strategies that... assist me in completing most any task that I tackle.
Though I am a very much self-contained, own best friend type guy, I am a good roommate or shared space type of guy. I am clean, generally quiet and I don't smoke cigarettes.... Some folks might call me a redneck-hippy and some.... maybe a hippy-redneck. I would probably call myself just a down to earth guy. I am involved in my community through volunteer work as well as my church and I try to be as easy on..... everything as I can.
I am open to a possible shared space, a whole place or.... some alternative housing options. Maybe fixing up a shed, a garage, a big ol' boat. Got a yurt? I am serious!! I have some skills, some tools and a bit of coin, what are some options we can look at? Off grid, outhouse and a tree fort?
No big rush. I am housed in a semi care-taking type situation but it is not forever and something more secure would be eventually preferred. But.... if you think you might have a place, please send me a message and who knows, this could be something good for both of us!!
